CyberDefender Appoints Senior Vice President of Operations to Support Expansion
CyberDefender Corporation (OTCBB:CYDE), an award-winning provider of PC security, Antispyware/Antivirus Software, PC Optimization, PC Support, and Identity Theft Prevention solutions, today announced it has expanded its management team with the hire of Neil Evans, as Senior Vice President of Operations.
In his role, Mr. Evans will oversee CyberDefender’s operations and manage multiple departments including internal and external eCommerce, administrative staffing and human resources. Specifically, Evans will focus on building out the operational infrastructure and its policies, supporting the company’s continued rapid growth and international expansion. Mr. Evans will work in CyberDefender’s Los Angeles headquarters and report directly to Gary Guseinov, CyberDefender’s Chief Executive Officer.
Evans comes to CyberDefender with over 15 years of eCommerce and operational executive management experience in the Internet and consumer products industries. He spent the past eight years with Product Partners, LLC/Beachbody where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, managing both domestic and international operations including all purchasing, order management and fulfillment. While at Product Partners, he implemented eCommerce and operational processes, structure and staffing to support growth of annual sales from less than $40 million in 2002 to nearly $400 million today. Before Product Partners, Evans served as the Director of eCommerce for LookSmart, where he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Guthy-Renker, LLC online business. Prior to that, Evans served as eCommerce Business Manager for Guthy-Renker, LLC and built their first online retail presence. Evans earned his Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering and computer science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a U.S. Navy veteran.
