Crosstex Energy Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Crosstex Energy companies, Crosstex Energy L.P. (XTEX) and Crosstex Energy Inc. (XTXI), Wednesday reported results for the second quarter.

Crosstex Energy Limited partners' interest in net loss was $18.4 million or $0.23 per share, compared to $7.3 million or $0.13 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated loss of $0.16 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Crosstex Energy LP's revenues for the quarter rose to $454.6 million from $394.4 million a year ago. Analysts estimated revenues of $435.03 million for the quarter.

Crosstex Energy Inc. reported attributable net loss of $4.7 million or $0.09 per share, compared to $1.7 million or $0.03 per share last year. Analyst estimated loss of $0.09 per share for the quarter.

Crosstex Energy Inc.'s revenues for the quarter rose to $454.7 million from $394.4 million a year ago. Analysts estimated revenues of $415.83 million for the quarter.
