Courion Appoints David Earhart As CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Courion, a provider of intelligent identity governance and administration or IGA solutions appointed David Earhart as its new chief executive officer or CEO and a member of the board of directors. He currently serves on two external boards of companies in the security space, Cyren (CYRN) and Coreblox.

Earhart's extensive background in security and identity and access management or IAM positions him well to lead Courion's corporate strategy and execution across all business functions.

Earhart's appointment comes shortly after the company announced a new center of operational excellence in Roswell, GA in order to increase its geographic footprint in the U.S. and grow its employee base. Courion has already hired more than 70 employees -- including six executives -- since K1's investment in February.

Previously, Earhart was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for Damballa, a leading provider of advanced threat protection. Before Damballa, Earhart was Senior Vice President of Security (IAM) Field Operations at CA Technologies, where his team delivered 300% growth in the security business. Prior to that, Earhart held various leadership and executive positions at BMC Software and venture-backed companies within the sales, support and services functions, the company noted.
