Constellium Q3 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Aluminium components maker Constellium N.V. (CSTM) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of 12 million euros or 0.11 euro per share, compared to 45 million euros or 0.43 euro per share a year ago.

Excluding the impact of unrealized gains and losses on derivative instruments, earnings per share would be 0.31 euro and 0.22 euro for the quarters ending September 30, 2014 and 2013, respectively.

On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's earnings to be $0.32 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Adjusted EBITDA totaled 72 million euros, up 13% from 64 million euros in the comparable quarter last year.

Quarterly revenues were 927 million euros, up 8% from 862 million euros a year earlier. Revenues increased by 3% on a like-for-like basis, excluding London Metal Exchange prices and currency exchange rates, when compared to the same period in 2013.
