Change in the Board of Directors of ProfilGruppen AB (publ)

ProfilGruppen’s (STO:PROFB) Chairman of the Board, Eva Färnstrand, will resign from her position in conjunction to the Annual General Meeting in April 2013. Eva Färnstrand has been Board Member since 2008 and Chairman of the Board since 2009.

The Nomination Committee proposes Kåre Wetterberg (MSc. Eng.) as new Board Member and Chairman of the Board.

Kåre Wetterberg has extensive experience from the aluminum industry and has over the years 1974-2011 worked in various positions within the Sapa Group. During the years 1997-2002 he was Managing Director of Sapa Vetlanda and 2004-2006, he was CEO of the Sapa Group. During the period from 2007 to 2011 he worked as a Senior Advisor and member of the Group management of Sapa.

Since 2011, Kåre Wetterberg has conducted his own business with assignments from, among other, Constellium Extrusions.

"Kåre Wetterberg has extensive knowledge of the aluminum industry and long experience from leadership in the expansive Swedish and international profile industry." says Lars Johansson, Chairman of the Nomination Committee.

Reelection is proposed for the other Board Members; Susanna Hilleskog, Thomas Widstrand, Bengt Stillström and Mats Egeholm.

The Nomination Committee’s reasoning regarding its proposal to the Board, in accordance to what is stipulated in the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance 2.6, are available at the company's website.

ProfilGruppen is a supplier of complex customised aluminium extrusions and components.
