MARTELA CORPORATION: CHANGE IN COMPANY’S OWN SHARES 26 APRIL 2018 at 5.00 p.m.

With regard to Martela Corporation’s series A shares in a joint book-entry account, the Annual General Meeting of Martela Corporation on 13 March 2018 decided that the right to such shares and the rights that the shares carry have been forfeited. Any claims regarding the registration of shareholder rights in the book-entry system with regards to the shares in the joint book-entry account presented after 13 March 2018 are not accepted and will not be accepted pursuant to the decision made by the Annual General Meeting.

Based on this, 1,046 Martela Corporations’ series A shares have been transferred from Martela Corporation’s joint account to the treasury shares reserve.

Before the transfer, Martela Corporation held 12,036 of its own series A shares. After the transfer, the number of series A shares held as treasury shares is 13,082. No series K shares are held by Martela Corporation.

Martela Corporation has a total of 4,155,600 shares divided into 3,550,800 Series A shares (MAR) and 604,800 Series K shares. Treasury shares represent 0,3 percent of the total number of shares.
