CACI Wins $40 Mln IDIQ Contract From DoD For Acquisitions Management Support
(RTTNews) - CACI International Inc (CACI) announced Tuesday that it has received a $40 million single-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity or IDIQ contract from the Defense Logistics Agency or DLA. The contract is to provide development and sustainment support for the Department of Defense Wide Area Workflow or WAWF and Electronic Document Access systems. This three-year contract continues CACI's business in its Business Systems market area.
The company noted that the CACI-supported WAWF has saved DoD approximately $250 million a year in invoice processing.
CACI's role will be to continue enhancing and supporting the WAWF e-Business Suite, with its web-based applications for enhanced processing of contract documentation, along with the EDA system, which provides a repository for DoD's procurement instruments and related documents.
John Mengucci, CACI's Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, "This system currently processes an average of 636,000 electronic documents a month, and has resulted in significant cost savings for our customers."
CACI provides information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
