C&C Group Responds To Engine Capital's Feedback, Expects To Return 150 Mln Euros By 2027

(RTTNews) - C&C Group plc (CCR.L), Monday, responding to the New York-based activist Engine Capital's letter, said its business performance is in line with expectations, and would return up to 150 million euros by the end of 2027.

The company welcomed feedback from all shareholders, as Engine Capital urged to conduct a business review.

"C&C has been a perennial underperformer and today is deeply misunderstood and undervalued by the market because of a combination of structural and self-inflicted problems," the hedge fund wrote in the letter.

Currently, C&C's stock is moving up 1.38 percent, to 161.20 pence on the London Stock Exchange.
