Brodsky & Smith To Investigate Potential Claims Against Wright Medical Group

(RTTNews) - Law office of Brodsky & Smith, LLC announced that it is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Wright Medical Group, Inc. (WMGI) relating to the proposed acquisition by Tornier N.V.

Under the terms of the transaction, Wright Medical shareholders will receive only 1.0309 shares of Tornier for each share of Wright Medical stock they own. The proposed transaction values Wright Medical at only about $24.79 per share.

The investigation concerns possible breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law by the board of directors of Wright Medical for not acting in the company's shareholders' best interests in connection with the sale process, the firm said.
