BinckBank not in takeover process Keytrade

Following a thorough review of a possible takeover of Keytrade in Belgium, BinckBank decided not to pursue this possibility and announces that it has no further interest in a takeover of Keytrade at the moment. The asking price for Keytrade is substantially higher than the level at which BinckBank would be interested to explore a takeover. BinckBank does not rule out its participation in the takeover process should the asking price develop favourably.

Vincent Germyns, Chairman of the Executive Board: "The strategy of BinckBank, which has been sharpened just recently, is based on our own strengths. We believe it was in line with our fiduciary responsibility to review a possible takeover of Keytrade. We found insufficient value to be able to offer a price near the asking price."
