Baker Hughes Worldwide Rig Count Down In July - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Oilfield services provider Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI) Friday reported that its worldwide rig count for the month of July fell to 1,481 from 2,167 counted last year.

The average U.S. rig count for July was 449, down 417 from the 866 counted last year. The average Canadian rig count for the month was 94, down 89 from the 183 counted a year ago.

The international rig count was 938, down from 1,118 counted prior year.The international offshore rig count for July was 226, down from 264 last year,
