Assa Abloy Buys Sargent And Greenleaf

(RTTNews) - Assa Abloy (ASS.L), a Swedish provider of locks, doors, gates, entrance automation, and many others, said on Friday that it has acquired Sargent and Greenleaf, an American provider of high-security mechanical and electronic locking solutions and safe hardware.

The acquisition is expected to add to the earnings of Assa Abloy. Nico Delvaux, CEO of Assa Abloy, said: "This acquisition delivers on our strategy to strengthen our position in mature markets through adding complementary products and solutions to our core business."

For 2024, Sargent and Greenleaf posted sales of $45 million.
