Aratana Therapeutics Prices Upsized Stock Offering

(RTTNews) - Aratana Therapeutics, Inc. (PETX) on Wednesday announced the upsizing and pricing of its previously announced public offering.

The size of the offering has been increased from 5.5 million shares of common stock to 6.5 million shares of common stock at a price to the public of $­­­­­­­19.00 per share.  

A total of 5 million shares are being offered by Aratana Therapeutics, and a total of 1.5 million shares are being offered by certain selling stockholders. 

The company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 150,000 shares of common stock and a selling stockholder has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 825,000 additional shares of common stock.

Jefferies LLC, Barclays, and William Blair are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.  JMP Securities and Craig-Hallum Capital Group are acting as co-managers.
