Apollo Investment Q1 Net Investment Income Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apollo Investment Corp. (AINV) reported that its net investment income for the first fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2015 declined to $50.99 million from $53.35 million in the same quarter last year.

Net investment income for the latest-quarter was $0.22 per share.

The Company's net asset value or "NAV" was $8.01 per share as of June 30, 2015, compared to $8.18, as of March 31, 2015.

Total investment income for the quarter declined to $101.67 million from $102.58 million in the prior year quarter.

Additionally, the Company also announced that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $0.20 per share for the first fiscal quarter of 2016, payable on October 6, 2015 to stockholders of record as of September 21, 2015. The specific tax characteristics of this dividend will be reported to stockholders on Form 1099 after the end of the calendar year.
