ANI Pharma Swings To Q2 Profit, Trims 2015 EPS Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Specialty pharmaceutical company ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc (ANIP) reported second-quarter net income of $3.57 million or $0.31 per share, compared to a net loss of $2.36 million or $0.21 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the latest quarter was $6.31 million or $0.55 per share.

Net revenues for the quarter soared to $19.52 million from $6.65 million in the same quarter last year.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected that company to report earnings of $0.54 per share, on revenues of $20.30 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2015, the company trimmed adjusted earnings guidance to a range of $2.44 to $2.50 per share from the prior forecast range of $2.44 to $2.67 per share. It also now projects net revenues between $82 million and $84 million, narrower than the previous guidance range between $80 million and $88 million. Street is currently looking for full-year 2015 earnings of $2.70 per share on annual revenues of $89.17 million.

The company also projected adjusted earnings in a range of $1.32 to $1.38 per share, on net revenues between $44 million and $46 million for the second half of fiscal 2015.
