Affymetrix Announces Distribution Agreement With Binding Site

(RTTNews) - Affymetrix (AFFX) said eBioscience, an Affymetrix business, and Binding Site Group Ltd. have entered into a multi-year distribution agreement.

Under this agreement, Binding Site has been granted the exclusive rights to distribute the eBioscience clinical flow cytometry reagents in the clinical care market, including hospitals and reference labs.

Ebioscience offers antibodies, ELISAs, multiplex solutions, and proteins for immunology, oncology, cell biology, stem cell biology, and clinical markets.

Binding Site is a world-wide in vitro diagnostic supplier of special protein reagents and instruments. It started servicing customers in the U.S. on December 1, and will start to service customers outside of the U.S. on February 15, 2015.
