ADC Exhibits TrueNet Solutions at BICSI Winter Conference; ADC Mobile Exhibit Begins National Tour in Florida

    MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2005--ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT)(www.adc.com) today announced that it will feature the company's new TrueNet(R) Structured Cabling Solutions at this year's BICSI Winter Conference. ADC will exhibit at the conference at Booth Nos. 700/702, January 24-27, 2005. TrueNet is an integrated portfolio of industry-leading enterprise network solutions combining proven cable, connectivity, and cable management solutions for fiber, 10 Gigabit Ethernet over UTP copper, and Category 6/5e from the data center to the desktop.

    On Jan. 28, the exhibit will begin traveling through the Southeastern U.S., and then proceed to cities in the Southwest and West regions of the United States as well as the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The exhibit will complete its tour in September 2005.

    Special ADC Events/Speakers at BICSI Winter Conference

    In addition to the floor exhibit and traveling exhibit at this year's BICSI Conference, three ADC speakers will be featured during the conference:

    -- ADC will host a special luncheon on Tuesday, January 25 to
    discuss 10GigE over UTP. The event, which starts at noon in
    the Naples Room, will feature Bob Kenny who will address ADC's
    latest technical innovations.

    -- Also on Tuesday, January 25, David Percival, RCDD and senior
    systems engineer for ADC, will present "Data Center Design
    101." This general session is scheduled for 2 - 2:45 p.m. in
    the Osceola Ballroom.

    -- Tim Takala, director of Enterprise technologies at ADC, will
    present in the Product Forum Theater on Tuesday, January 25 at
    6:15 p.m. His presentation, "CopperTen - A Year Since Launch,"
    will focus on ADC's CopperTen(R) offering which is now
    installed and running data networks around the world.
    CopperTen is the world's first UTP structured cabling system
    with the necessary characteristics to enable 10Gbps Ethernet
    transmission over a full 100 meters.

    The BICSI Winter Conference is designed to bring attendees up-to-date information about the information transport systems (ITS) industry. The audience includes professionals from around the globe, ranging from practitioners to end users. Approximately 4,000 people attend the Winter Conference each year along with more than 200 exhibitors.
