ACE Europe Appoints Andy Hollenberg, Senior Vice President, Accident & Health
ACE has announced the appointment of Andy Hollenberg as Senior Vice
President, Accident & Health (A&H), ACE Europe. Mr Hollenberg will be
based in London and moves from his previous role as Vice President, A&H
for ACE Far East. In his new role, he will lead ACE’s
A&H operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As such, he will
be responsible for the distribution of accident, supplemental health,
term life, creditor and niche personal lines products to both group and
individual customers.
Mr Hollenberg succeeds Edward Levin, who has moved to the position of
Executive Vice President, ACE Overseas General, with responsibility for
all of ACE’s International A&H business. Mr.
Hollenberg will report jointly to Mr. Levin and to Andrew Kendrick,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, ACE European Group. Mr. Levin, in
turn, reports to Ed Clancy, President and Chief Operating Officer, ACE
Overseas General, Mr Levin will continue to be based in London.

bringing a number of innovative value-added products and programmes to
the market!”

last several years and will need experienced leadership as it continues
to grow. Andy brings experience from ACE’s A&H
business in both North America and Japan. His rich experience will
enable us to further enhance our customer proposition and to capitalise

Mr. Hollenberg assumed his previous role as head of ACE’s
A&H business in Japan in May 2003. He joined ACE in 2000 as head of the
A&H business in Canada. Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Hollenberg spent 10
years at Avco (now part of Citigroup), where he was involved in national
marketing and strategic planning, and finally direct marketing of A&H
products for Avco’s captive insurance
companies. Prior to that, Mr. Hollenberg served as a strategic planner
for the Ontario Medical Association. He holds a master’s
degree in political science from the University of Western Ontario, and
a master’s degree in business administration
from York University (Toronto), with a concentration in finance and
marketing.
Edward Levin
Mr. Levin assumed his previous role on joining ACE in 2004, overseeing
ACE’s European A&H and Personal Lines
operations, and serving as a director of ACE European Group, Ltd. In
2007 he also became Chief Executive Officer of ACE Europe Life Limited,
ACE’s new U.K.-based life assurance company.
Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Levin worked in a number of financial
organizations in the United States, Latin America and Europe, including
Citibank, Travelers Property & Casualty, Travelers Life & Annuity, and
CitiInsurance. Mr. Levin holds an artium baccalaureatus in economics
from Harvard College and a master’s degree in
business administration from Columbia University.
