Access Midstream Partners Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Access Midstream Partners L.P. (ACMP) Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $78 million or $0.33 per subordinated unit compared with $50 million or $0.32 per subordinated unit last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $261 million compared with $156 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.33 per unit on revenues of $258.72 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Throughput for the quarter totaled 349.2 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas, or 3.80 bcf per day - an increase of 34.3% from throughput of 2.83 bcf per day in the prior year.

The increase was driven by throughput from the Eagle Ford and Haynesville assets acquired in December 2012, as well as an increase in Marcellus throughput.
