Abaxis Results Top Estimate
(RTTNews) - Abaxis Inc (ABAX), a maker of portable blood analysis systems, on Thursday reported third-quarter net earnings of $5.9 million or $0.26 per share compared with $3.2 million or $0.14 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $59.5 million compared with $40.8 million in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.25 per share on revenues of $51.66 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Abaxis declared a quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share.
