El Paso Says Unable To Provide 2016 Earnings Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - While reporting its fourth-quarter financial results today, El Paso Electric Co (EE) said it is not able to provide earnings guidance for fiscal 2016 at this point of time. The company noted that on May 11, 2015 and August 10, 2015, it filed rate cases in New Mexico and Texas, respectively.

The outcome of these cases is expected to have a significant impact on the company's results of operations in 2016.

Since the company cannot predict the outcome of these rate cases, it has decided not to provide earnings guidance at this time. However, the company will continue to provide management's outlook on key earnings drivers on the company's February 24, 2016 conference call.
