Weatherford Int'l Q3 Profit Declines

(RTTNews) - Weatherford International Ltd. (WFT) reported a third-quarter net income attributable to company of $22 million or $0.03 per share, compared to $70 million or $0.09 per share, prior year.

Non-GAAP net income for the latest third quarter was $177 million or $0.23 per share, down from $140 million, or $0.18 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

On average, 32 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.22. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenue was $3.82 billion, compared to $3.82 billion last year. Analysts expected revenue of $4.10 billion for the quarter.
