W. P. Carey Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - W. P. Carey Inc. (WPC) reported first-quarter income from continuing operations of $108.60 million or $1.18 per share, compared to $18.52 million or $0.24 per share, last year. Total earnings per share was $1.25, compared to $0.20, prior year.

FFO (as defined by NAREIT) per share was $1.76, compared to $0.67. AFFO per share increased to $1.31 from $1.03.

Revenues increased to $135.24 million from $76.48 million. Revenues, excluding reimbursable costs, totaled $163.4 million, up 79.7% from $90.9 million for the 2013 first quarter. The company affirmed its full year 2014 AFFO guidance range of $4.40 to $4.65 per share.
