The largest gathering of manufacturers in Québec celebrates its biggest success

MONTREAL, Oct. 24, 2017/CNW Telbec/ - This year marks STIQ's 30th anniversary and we are very pleased, on this occasion, to be carrying out the biggest edition in the history of the Buyer/Supplier Day with 800 B2B meetings between 150 Quebec based suppliers and 34 prime contractors. These international businesses are looking for qualified suppliers to fulfill specific needs in a variety of industry sectors. Following this day of fruitful business meetings, contracts worth tens of thousands of dollars could be granted to Quebec-based manufacturing SMEs.

"Today, 34 prime contractors are meeting potential suppliers to fulfill precise supply needs. This 11th edition of the buyer/supplier day also marks STIQ's 30th anniversary, and the biggest success in the history of the buyer/supplier day, with 800 B2B meetings scheduled throughout the day. Moreover, 11 of the 34 prime contractors are repeat participants from last year, a good indicator that they consider the buyer/supplier day a fast and effective way to discover new Québec based suppliers. In fact, many SME's have confirmed obtaining important contracts thanks to their participation to this networking event… " says Richard Blanchet, CEO.
