Sallie Mae To Create Additional 300 Jobs By End Of 2015

(RTTNews) - Students loan provider company Sallie Mae (SLM) Friday announced that it has created 200 new jobs and expects to add 300 More Employees in Luzerne County.

The company said that it is investing more than $5 million at its 133,000-square-foot facility in the Hanover Industrial Park and plans to add about 300 more positions which will result in nearly 1,300 people working at the site by the end of 2015.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania awarded an incentive package to support the company's investment, totaling $2.2 million.

Sallie Mae said it is hiring positions in servicing, collections and management.
