Resources Connection Posts Higher Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Resources Connection, Inc. (RECN) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $6.9 million or $0.18 per share, compared to $5.3 million or $0.13 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Net income includes severance and related charges for European personnel reductions totaling $2.0 million or $0.05 per share and $1.1 million or $0.03 per share for the fourth quarters of fiscal 2014 and fiscal 2013, respectively.

Revenue for the fourth quarter rose 11.8% to $156.78 million from $140.18 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.18 per share on revenue of $154.97 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
