Pre-market Movers For Nov 25 (WMT, OREX, CAMT, BBRY, CLDX)
(RTTNews) - Gainers:
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) is gaining 0.36 percent to $80.10. The company announced that its board has elected Doug McMillon to succeed Mike Duke as its president and chief executive, effective February 1, 2014. McMillon was also elected to the company's board. Mike Duke will continue serving as the chairman of the executive committee of the board.
Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (OREX) is gaining 18 percent to $6.69. The company reported successful results from the interim analysis of the Light study, based on which it would resubmit the Contrave New Drug Application to the FDA, in a few weeks, with approval expected by June 2014.
Camtek Ltd. (CAMT) is up 21 percent to $3.22. The company's parent company, Priortech Ltd., disclosed, that it does not know of any information about sharp increase in the share price during the last two days. Priortech clarified further that there is no basis to the rumor about a tender offer on behalf of Priortech for the purchase of Camtek shares.
Decliners:
BlackBerry Ltd. (BBRY) is down 1 percent to $6.19. The smartphone maker announced that its operating chief Kristian Tear and marketing chief Frank Boulben, will leave the company. BlackBerry also announced that James Yersh will replace Brian Bidulka as its finance chief.
Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (CLDX) is falling 10 percent to $25.27. The company announced that its experimental drug Rindopepimut demonstrated promising clinical activity in advanced glioblastoma patient populations, including patients both naïve and refractory to Avastin, in an ongoing, exploratory phase II study dubbed ReACT.
