PolyOne Q3 Profit Declines

(RTTNews) - PolyOne Corp. (POL) Thursday reported third-quarter net income attributable to common shareholders of $23.0 million or $0.24 per share, compared to $24.0 million or $0.27 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $98.1 million or $0.36 per share. On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.34 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales increased to $1.01 billion from $707.7 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $979.57 billion.
