LifePoint Health Lowers 2017 Guidance - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - LifePoint Health, Inc. (LPNT) announced, for 2017, the company now expects adjusted EPS in a range of $3.48 - $3.78; and Net Revenue in the range of $6.335 - $6.385 billion. Previously, the company estimated adjusted EPS in a range of $3.92 - $4.20; and Net Revenue in the range of $6.425 - $6.5 billion.

Adjusted earnings per share to stockholders for the third quarter ended September 30, 2017, were $0.80. Consolidated revenues were $1.58 billion compared to $1.59 billion for the same period last year.

The company also announced that its Board has authorized a new stock repurchase plan for the repurchase of up to $200.0 million in outstanding shares of its common stock. Under the new stock repurchase plan, the company may repurchase its common stock from time to time, in amounts, at prices, and at such times as the company deems appropriate, subject to market conditions and other considerations.
