(RTTNews) - First American Financial Corp. (FAF) revealed earnings for its second quarter that rose from the same period last year.

The company's earnings came in at $155.1 million, or $1.37 per share. This compares with $122.3 million, or $1.09 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 2.8% to $1.49 billion from $1.45 billion last year.
