FireEye Q1 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - FireEye Inc. (FEYE) Thursday reported first-quarter net loss of $134.0 million or $0.88 per share, wider than last year's loss of $101.2 million or $0.76 per share last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $0.48 per share, compared to $0.53 per share last year.

Total revenues for the first quarter rose to $125.4 million from $74.0 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $0.51 per share, on revenues of $120.56 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the second quarter, the company expects loss per share of $0.47 to $0.50. Analysts currently estimate loss of $0.49 per share for the quarter.

For the fiscal year 2015, the company now expects loss per share of $1.75 to $1.85, compared to prior outlook of $1.80 to $1.90 per share. Analysts currently estimate loss of $1.86 per share.
