DGAP-News: HELMA Eigenheimbau AG / Key word(s): Miscellaneous HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: Subsidiary invests in further holiday property projects Lehrte, May 17, 2018 - After the successful development and realisation of various holiday property projects on the Baltic Sea and near Berlin, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH has secured further attractive land plots on the North Sea as well as in the Sauerland. At the turn of the year, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH already acquired an approximately 47,200 square metres land plot in Büsum, where it will develop the "NordseeResort Büsum". This new resort is situated on the Dithmarscher Strasse in the north of Büsum and will comprise 108 holiday property units. Based on the house types successfully marketed in the "OstseeResort Olpenitz", the freestanding two-storey holiday homes of approximately 80 and 100 square metres as well as holiday apartments of around 75 square metres living space each are to be offered in Büsum. Furthermore, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH has this week secured a further land plot on the North Sea coast in the locality of Tossens, which is located on the Butjadingen North Sea peninsula right by the Innenjade. The company plans to construct 23 semi-detached houses to a premium standard on a space of approximately 29,800 square metres on the village periphery directly behind the dam. Each of the holiday houses consists of two units with living spaces between approximately 70 and 90 square metres. Besides the land plots on the North Sea, HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH has this week also purchased an approximately 7,400 square metre space in the winter sports resort Winterberg. This small town is the tourist centre of the High Sauerland and is known for its ski pistes as well as many hiking and cycling paths in the surrounding mountains. Not far from the World Cup toboggan run, the company is to create around 65 apartments, distributed among four holiday homes, with living spaces of around 60 to 80 square metres. Sales activities for the three aforementioned projects will in all likelihood commence during 2019. The future revenue potential from the land plots that HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH has secured amounts to around EUR 320 million as of the end of the 2017 financial year. This figure already includes the "NordseeResort Büsum". The projects in Tossens and Winterberg expand this potential by a total of around EUR 35.4 million.
