HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: H1 2017 new order intake figures published

Lehrte, July 13, 2017 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the specialist for individual solid construction houses and sustainable energy concepts, achieved a consolidated new order intake of EUR 116.3 million in the first half of 2017 (H1 2016: EUR 120.6 million). This represents a slight year-on-year decrease of 3.6 %. While both HELMA Eigenheimbau AG and its subsidiary HELMA Ferienimmobilien GmbH report significant growth in the reporting period, new order intake at the subsidiary HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH was down year-on-year, as expected, exclusively reflecting the concentration of the sales starts for numerous projects during the second half of 2017.

Overall, as a consequence, the HELMA Group lies within its planned new order intake range as of the midyear stage, as the company published in its management report in March 2017. Equally, the company's Management Board confirms the expectation it described in the management report of new order intake being considerably higher in the second half of 2017 than during the first six months of the year, as in previous years.

For example, only recently have sales commenced for "HAVELMARINA", one of the largest projects in the history of HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH. In an attractive waterside location in the Berlin city district of Spandau, the construction is planned of a total of around 180 individually designed detached houses as well as approximately 125 units in terraced houses and multi-family houses, with total revenue of around EUR 120 million. The completion of this project will be distributed over the 2018 to 2020 financial years.

Sales are also to start soon for "Podbi Places" in Hanover Gross-Buchholz, with 45 owner-occupied apartments and 4 business units. Here, the predominant proportion of completion is anticipated in 2019, with total revenue of around EUR 18 million. Further sales starts in the core regions of Hanover, Berlin, Leipzig and Munich of HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH will follow during the second half of the 2017 financial year.
