Allscripts Healthcare Reports Q4 Adj. Profit In Line

(RTTNews) - Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (MDRX) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $21 million or $0.12 per share, compared to a net loss of $24 million or $0.14 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $14 million or $0.08 per share, compared to $28 million or $0.16 per share in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Revenue for the fourth quarter remained essentially flat with last year at $351 million, while adjusted revenue fell to $354 million from $368 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.08 per share on revenue of $343.47 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
