After-market Movers For Nov 4 (APC, GTAT, CYTX, BSFT, PPO, LF)

(RTTNews) - Gainers:

GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (GTAT) gained 10 percent to $9.21 based on the news that it has entered into a multi-year supply agreement with Apple Inc. (AAPL) to provide sapphire material. Apple will provide GT with a prepayment of $578 million and GT will reimburse Apple for the prepayment over five years, starting in 2015. GT reported a net loss for its third quarter. Revenue for the quarter plunged and also missed the consensus.

Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (CYTX) surged 42 percent to $2.98. The company announced a partnership with Lorem Vascular to commercialize Cytori Cell Therapy for the cardiovascular, renal and diabetes markets in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Lorem Vascular committed to pay up to $531 million in license fees, opening product purchase commitments and Cytori equity purchases.

Decliners:

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC) fell 2 percent to $94.10. The company's third quarter earnings improved from the previous year period, while its adjusted earnings per share missed Wall Street view. Revenues managed to marginally beat the consensus estimate.

BroadSoft, Inc. (BSFT) plunged 18 percent to $27.00. The company's third quarter results were below analysts' expectations. The company forecast fourth quarter results below Street view and stated that it has some short-term concerns about the service provider spending environment in the fourth quarter. The company also also lowered its fiscal year outlook.

Polypore International Inc. (PPO) fell 13 percent to $38.00 after its third quarter results missed Wall Street view.

LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. (LF) declined 9 percent to $7.86. The company's third quarter earnings topped Wall Street view, while revenue missed the consensus estimate. The company said it is concerned about the fourth quarter given economic headwinds and a weak retail environment. The company currently expects full year 2013 results below market view.
